Movie Summary:

Loki finds out the location of the Tesseract and ventures to Earth to retrieve it and also enslave the human race. Nick Fury was performing tests on the Tesseract in hopes of unlocking the power source as well as weaponry capabilities. Loki manages to take the Tesseract after coming through the portal created by the cube (tesseract).

After this event Fury assembles a group of super humans known as The Avengers to help defeat Loki as well as get the cube back. The team consisted of Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, Black Widow (assassin) and The Hawk (assassin). They manage to capture Loki who was creating a distraction as his minions get the equipment needed to recreate the portal he used at S.H.I.E.L.D.

Upon capturing Loki, Thor his half-brother shows up to capture him and also take back the cube. The team is briefed about what they were doing with the cube, but the truth eventually came out and exposed that they were testing the cube’s weaponry capabilities. The team get into an argument which is broken up after the ship is attacked and they are all scattered.

Loki is freed but The Hawk who was made a minion, managed to get back to his normal self. Agent Colson dies and inspires the two who remained to get Loki. They figure out where Loki was going to launch the portal and get to work defeating Loki. After the battle is over and the portal was closed the team focused on Loki and allowed for him to be taken as a captive by Thor along with the cube.

Review:

One of the best action movies I have ever seen. If you do not know who The Avengers are here is a little homework:
Thor

The Incredible Hulk

Captain America: The First Avenger

Iron Man

Iron Man 2
