Movie Summary:

Mei, a young girl who was taken from her home country and brought to America by the Triads because she is extremely good with numbers. She is forced to work for them and keep record of their business activities.

Jason Statham is a fighter of sorts who recently got on the Russian mob’s radar after winning a fight he was supposed to lose causing everyone a lot of money. His wife is killed and he is told that anyone he befriends will also be killed until he eventually dies or kills himself.

Their paths cross after Jason see’s the young girl running from someone, he realizes it’s the Russians and gets involved and helps her to escape. Mei was given a number and was on her way to receive another number before the Russians came in guns blazing and took her.

Jason learns of the entire scheme and who all were involved and decided to get even more involved, he robs the Triad’s safe and also takes the disc the Triads were going to purchase, to exchange for Mei.

Jason manages to get Mei back and returns the money to the Triads less 50 Thousand and gave them a warning that if they attempted to come after them, that the Triads would have a lot to fear.


Great action movie, a lot of shooting and boxing and bones breaking, a decent plot as well and was entertaining.
