Movie Summary

The odd group of animal friends are on an adventure again, in their attempt to return to their home in the New York Zoo. They find themselves stuck in Africa after their plan failed and the penguins took off, on some super plane leaving the group to fend for themselves. They decide to track down the Penguins and force them, to take the group of animals back home. The group winds up crashing in and blows the cover of the penguins and get on the radar of the city’s animal control. Except that the animal control leader was a crazy woman and started pursuing their trail relentlessly.

The animals wind up in Europe and manages to convince a group of circus animals, that they were circus animals in order to escape capture. They find out about the circus and learns of its steady plummet after an accident and decides to change all of it. They redesign the circus and become close to all of the animals and the circus regained its former glory. The group of animals found out that they would be heading to New York to do a performance, and the circus animals find out that the group was lying and in fact had never been in a circus.

The group return to New York Zoo, to find things were a lot more different than what they had remembered and wound up being caught by the crazy animal control officer; but are saved from being killed as the zoo security was alerted by all the commotion. A ceremony is held to praise the officer for returning the animals, but she tries to take out Alex, the lion. The group is saved by the circus animals who came to their rescue, and they put on a spectacular show for the crowd that had gathered for the ceremony.

Review

A good family movie, nowhere near as good the two previous movies or it could be because of how I am getting older, but it is still watchable and entertaining.
