Movie Summary:

At around the age of 9 Abraham witnesses his mother being killed by a vampire. A couple of years past and he is now all grown up, and sets out to kill the vampire who killed his mother. Needless to say, he failed miserably,  however Henry Sturgess came to his rescue, befriended him and taught him how to kill vampires. Abraham then moved to Springfield, under the cover of a store clerk, while he studied law and a vampire slayer at night with the agreement that he would kill only the vampires that Henry told him to. He also met and eventually married Mary Todd, and began his political career.

Many years have passed and Abraham is now the president of the United States, he is still married to Mary Todd and has a son. He learns that vampires have been fighting with the Confederate forces and after realizing that the forces are suffering heavy defeat. He loses his son, after he is killed by a vampire forcing him to become emotionally attached to the war. Abraham comes with a plan to defeat the vampires, he remembers that silver is the secret to killing vampires and acquires all the silverware he could and melt them down into ammunition. He realizes that the vampires would not allow the train to reach the troops so he comes up with a dummy train guarded by himself so that the vampires would attack the train with him allowing for the real train to get to the troops.

The vampires take the bait and attack the train relentlessly and even burn the bridge to keep the train from getting to its destination. The vampires however realize Abraham’s plan all along but it was too late as the train was already on the burning bridge and there was no way for the vampires to escape. Abraham along with his friends, manage to make it off the train and the leaders of the vampires were killed in the crash. The troops receive the ammunition and eventually won the war.

Review

A great action movie, not much of a horror though, but the special effects and slow motion are amazing and it has a decent storyline.
