Giant “Godzilla like” monsters and giant robots, battling it out in a grudge match for the continuation of the human race, if that alone doesn’t just make you run out and watch it, well, this review might help. As all movies would have it, we already know who is going to win, but in classic Guillermo del Toro style there has to be some outrageous characters, and insane special effects (even though the entire movie is practically a 3D animated show but with humans added in) but these just help to add to the movie’s awesomeness. That was all that really stood out, I came for giant robots smacking around giant monsters and I wasn’t disappointed.
